About Me

My name is Ariel Rosshirt and I'm the photographer. I'm guessing you've come to this page to learn a little more about me, so I'll tell you... If you've come to this page in the past and wondered why it didn't say anything about me, well, that's because it took me two years to figure out what I wanted to say about myself. You see, I'm not good at talking about myself. I like to let my work speak for me, but that's not what this page is for. You can see my work on every other page on my website. This page is about me, so here goes! First and foremost, My husband and my two awesome kids mean the world to me. They are my life. I'm an optimist. I have a positive outlook on life in general. I like to believe that the glass is ALWAYS half full. I like to have fun regardless of the task at hand. When life throws me lemons, I make the best damn lemonade I can! I'm blunt. If you ask me what I think, I will probably tell you (unless it's going to hurt your feelings). I care a lot about the people in my life, especially my family! I care a lot about everyone really. Sometimes I care a little too much (or so I'm told). I go out of my way to do what I can to make people happy because that's what makes me happy. My favorite color is green. My favorite foods are Mexican food, bacon and almost anything fried (especially ocra and green tomatoes). My favorite vacation destination is Disney World. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm obsessed! My favorite sport to watch is gymnastics. My favorite sport to play is also gymnastics, but I'm getting too old for that... I love camping and hiking. I love singing to the top of my lungs in my car by myself (because I sound horrible and shouldn't really be singing at all). I love going shopping with my mom (who is totally awesome, by the way). I love hanging out with my dad in his wood shop while he's rambling on and on about silly things. I love playing video games with my daughter and husband. I love making my son giggle. I love taking pictures. I bring a camera everywhere I go, but as my cameras get bigger and bigger, it becomes less convenient than my iPhone, which is sad but true. So, to get to my point, that's me. There's a lot more to me, but I'm sure all you really wanted to know was that I love taking pictures and some people think I'm good at it.
